Fontaines D.C. Shock Fans by Bringing Pro-Palestine Group Onstage at Roskilde Festival

Image
Irish rockers Fontaines D.C. invited a pro-Palestine group on stage at their festival slot at Roskilde, Denmark - one of the largest music festivals in Europe and the largest in the Nordic countries. The band brought out the activist group mid-performance to show their solidarity with the people of Gaza and led chants in both English and Arabic. Check out the footage below. This comes as both Kneecap and Bob Vylan are under investigation by the police for their pro-Palestine comments at Glastonbury 2025. Fontaines D.C. also praised British punk rap duo Bob Vylan for voicing their support for Palestine during their gig on the West Holts stage last weekend. Bob Vylan projected a message reading “Free Palestine – United Nations have called it a genocide – the BBC calls it a ‘conflict’” onto the screen behind them, and also led chants of both “free, free Palestine” and “death, death to the IDF” (Israel Defence Forces). **WATCH: Post Malone Takes a Tumble Mid-Show – And Handles It Like a Pro (He’s Not Alone!) ** 🎤✨

Image
One lucky fan got up close and personal with Post Malone – whose real name is Austin Post – at his latest US concert in Glendale, Arizona. As Post performed his and Blake Shelton's song Somebody Pour Me a Drink , he strutted his stuff down the catwalk to the end of the stage, where an eager fan waited with their drink in the air to toast the singer. Footage taken by the fan in question showed Post lived up to his reputation of being kind to his fans, taking a knee at the end of the catwalk to toast the red solo cup he held in his hand. But everything – including Post himself – quickly went sideways. READ MORE: Why newly-married Brittany Hockley and her husband still 'don't live together' He began to fell forward, twisting to his left as a piece of the stage gave out and the singer went tumbling to the ground. Watch the video above. "I am SO sorry Austin. I love you! Such an amazing show ❤️," the fan w...

The Corrs Rock Madrid with Pop, Rock, and Celtic Vibes

Image
As if the hot, soaring temperatures were not enough to deal with, the final day of June brought an enormous thunderstorm to Madrid, which for a while threatened to make The Corrs return a washout even before it started. But the rain eventually gave way and just after 10pm, Andrea, Sharon, Caroline and Jim came out on stage and the applause from the audience made it clear that thousands had been eagerly awaiting the return of the Irish band to Spanish shores. The chords of 'Only When I Sleep' started to play... and the show began! Andrea's voice perhaps suggested that she had been performing for several weeks, but the singer still moved the crowd. After the second song, Andrea approached the microphone and the next charm offensive was upon us: "Buenas noches Madrid, es un placer estar aquí", something we Spaniards appreciate very much: 'guiris' (foreign tourists) speaking the language of Cervantes. Back to Shakespeare's language, he commented...

Artists at Glastonbury 2025 Who Showed Support for Palestine

Image
Glastonbury Festival may be the best festival in the world for music, but it's always politically-charged, and over the years has become known as a place for people to express themselves and engage in healthy debate when it comes to current affairs too. However, the 2025 festival has caused a stir in particular, not least because it's fallen at a time when there's a lot more conflict in the world, particularly in the Middle East, where the ongoing Israel-Hamas war, and the Israel-Iran war are dividing people. What's more, a lot of artists used their performances at the Worthy Farm site to call for peace, or even express their own support publicly for Palestine , which has been near-destroyed as a result of fighting. Bob Vylan became one of the biggest talking points of the weekend, when front man, Bobby Vylan (real name Pascal Robinson-Foster), led chants of "Death, death to the IDF" (Israel Defence Forces) among the crowd. The festival...

Image
The Damned have announced a 50th anniversary concert at London ’s OVO Arena Wembley , admitting they ‘never thought [they’d] make it this far’. Taking place on April 11, 2026, the show will see the band supported by Peter Hook And The Light, The Loveless featuring Marc Almond, and The Courettes. Announcing the gig, The Damned had some rather frank thoughts on their mortality. ‘Half a century on and who’d have thought The Damned would still be upright and breathing?’, they said honestly. ‘We have shared some tragic losses along the way, but like a finely-tuned engine, The Damned still has the power and finesse to excite, entertain and accelerate into our 50th year… ‘To mark this milestone event, we’ve booked OVO Arena Wembley for the 11th of April 2026 and, after a lot of careful deliberation, have put a bill together for a night for you to remember and will be joined by The Courettes, Peter Hook, and Marc Almond.’ As for what fans can expect from the gig,...
